Phoenix Occupational Therapy is a professional and caring service, with a deep understanding of the physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs of our clients who come to us from a diverse spectrum. We specialise in all elements of Occupational Therapy including disability, adult, paediatric and the ageing populations. We are currently an independent NDIS provider, working towards our full NDIS accreditation. We can help in all manner of OT assessments, rehabilitation programs, AT prescriptions, and minor home modifications.

About Us

Corrina Prebble is the Director of Phoenix Occupational Therapy. She is in her 19th year of practise as an Occupational Therapist, having graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004. Corrina has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, therapy clinics, and most recently provided home-based therapy for NDIS and aged-care participants. Her most senior hospital-based position was at Nambour Hospital for Queensland Health in 2011, whereby she was employed in an Acting Capacity as the Clinical Leader of the Medical Stream. Other notable positions she has held include Senior Occupational Therapist within the Acute Stroke Unit at Nambour Hospital, and Occupational Therapist at EKCO Hand Therapy Clinic in Brisbane working with leading hand and upper limb surgeons, treating a varied caseload consisting of elite sportspeople and complex trauma, to conservative management of tendinopathies and degenerative disease. 


Prior to these positions, Corrina was employed overseas in London within the city’s largest neurological specialist teaching hospital. She has developed high-level Occupational Therapy skills in a variety of patient caseloads and possesses excellent teamwork and professional leadership skills. She continually strives to deliver a person-centred therapy that is evidence-based, results-orientated and delivered with a kind and caring approach. Professionally she has developed specialist skills in upper limb management following a neurological event, wheelchair and other assistive equipment prescription skills, home modification knowledge, cognitive skills retraining and report writing expertise. 


Corrina commenced working within the scope of a private allied health company in November 2021, with her principal caseload being participants registered within the NDIS. Corrina is experienced, passionate, and dedicated about improving her client’s overall wellbeing and quality of life.

We provide expertise on achieving an individual's goals, with consideration of their physical, cognitive and psychosocial functioning. We work closely with other health professionals and social supports to ensure that a person's full care needs are considered and coordinated.
